Before Zoe hopped on board with the Jioni Project, we stumbled upon the Longest Night Archives and did our best to breathe new life into them. I had an idea to expand the project from acoustic room lo-fi singles to small studio albums. But not just any albums, concept albums.

Thus, the Dollar Store demos were born. Recorded on May 2023, and recorded in mono on a single track. These were proof of concepts for an EP I had in mind, 'The Minotaur,' inspired by the legend of the creature of the same name. A musical journey of my state of mind through the 'single years.' I sent these raw demos to music producers, sprinkling a few voice notes for the producers in hopes of expanding upon it one day. Fortunately, it reached one and we recorded it through June of the same year.

We're aiming to release the EP in February or March 2024. However, since we reached a goal on my ko-fi page, it's time to fulfill a promise and release the demos to the public. So here, with all the Uncut and raw glory, is the complete demo reel.
