From 2016 to 2018, Jioni recorded several songs using various sources, including a computer, a decent microphone, a fourth-generation iPod touch, and a cassette tape. These recordings were compiled into an extended play called "The Longest Night Archives," which unfortunately went largely unnoticed due to a lack of interest from the public; and a lack of promotion due to anxiety on Jioni's part.

As a result, Jioni deleted the EP and all their social media presence, resulting in the loss of most of the recordings made during that time. However, one recording managed to survive: a cassette tape containing a few songs.

Fast forward to March 2023, and the cassette tape has been found and restored. Now, everyone can experience what is left of the original "The Longest Night Archives" in their original form, providing a glimpse into a period of Jioni's creative output that might have otherwise been lost to time.
